FIELD CLOSURES

The City “mud line” for park opening and closure is: 461-3595. If there has been rain 24 hours prior or if the rains have been exceptionally heavy, please be sure to check this line for updates on the field (they update the line about 1:00 pm on any day that is in question). When fields are closed this includes the batting cages as well as bullpens

Join Saddleback Pony as we continue our long standing relationship with Irvine Pony Baseball in what is expected to be a great 2012 season. Both leagues will compete in the newly created SELECT division with 44 teams in 3 divisions. We will once again put a product on the field that is unmatched by any other league in Orange County.

Look for Fall Ball registration to begin the first week of May. We will continue our spring relationship with Irvine and once again play a interleague schedule in the newly created select division.

About Us

Mustang League

Mustang League was established for players playing age 10 and under. Mustang League plays on 60' base paths with a 46' pitching distance. The League plays interleague with Irvine Pony Baseball.

Regularly scheduled games with lead offs, dropped 3rd strikes and holding runners on will make for an exciting, fulfilling season.

The focus of the Mustang League is to develop players for the next baseball play and eventually high school baseball.

Bronco League

Bronco League is for players age 11 and 12. Bronco League plays on 70' base paths with a 48'-50' pitching distance. There are typically two divisions:

National League & American League. National League plays teams within the same league only. Both leagues play interleague
with Irvine Pony Baseball. Regularly scheduled games with lead offs, dropped 3rd strikes and holding runners on will make for an exciting and fun season.

The focus of the Bronco League is to develop players for the next level of play and eventually high school baseball.

Pony League

Pony League accommodates players age 13-14 Pony has two divisions 54/80 and 60/90. Each plays on consistent field dimensions the whole season.

Pony League Highlights:
-bats through the order
(no substitution)!
-minimum play 3 innings
-required rotation
-big barrel bats & steel cleats
-lead offs & holding runners on
-dropped 3rd strike
-professional, certified umpires
-Pro rules
